Had a very odd dream that didn't quite end as I woke up. In this dream Sarah was running a game of either Exalted or In Nomine, can't remember which right now, with me, Niku, Sachi, Kris, and two other people as players. When everyone else seemed to be packing up to leave Sarah started to nag me to draw my character since everyone else did theirs and we got into a can't/won't draw characters arguement.
After I told Sarah that I can't draw people that look better than scribbles which I won't accept as a character sketch(she still wasn't satisfied with that answer) Kris said that there was a BBQ on Tuesday at his place. During my response about my Tuesday schedule I woke up and was still explaining it to the dream.
Yes, I am weird.

There is a fear that we as a culture never really lost, the fear of names. Names have power. If someone knows your name they can find out things about you, do things to you. The more of a persons name you know the more options you have. THus people have taken to only giving out parts of their names even to friends, sometimes only a nickname or their middle name without telling anyone that it is that.
On another note: Disney has violated my wallet!!! The only reason they violated it rather than rape is that you can't rape a willing person, and me and my wallet are very willing to give for Ghibli. :D
Third and final bit tonight: One of my friends introduced me to the *chans. No these aren't girls, they're sites. Picture posting sites of various reputes. Here is the cleanest one I've come across: http://www.iichan.net/ IDLECHAN VERSION 3.0

I seem to have put this off for a long time. Then again I had other things which seemed less like work that I wanted to do when I had the chances to use the compie. Anyhoo.
I recently got a Tracfone and an extra card of minutes. This should help end the bad communications/aborted get togethers. Since I'm not made of money, the phone is only for things like that, not long talks of philosophy, friends or the like. I'd love to do that, just not with what I get paid.
Also, I've decided to try to have a good attitude about not having a relationship. I've lived without one up till now, I can wait a while to have one. I just don't want to :P
Well, my clothes are done so I guess I should grab them and go to enjoy my weekend.

Today is a good day so far, but I still have work ahead of me. Nothing much has been going on other than day to day BS at work and sleep. This is something I'd like to change. On that note, my days off are Monday/Tuesday right now and also I will be going to the Japantown Anime Faire ( http://www.jtaf.com/main.html ). So if anyone who reads this wants to get together and do something, drop a line.

Warning!: Poster in a bad mood!
Now that the obvious has been stated twice, lets get on with this. First on my list is this, Elliot, when you read this please know that I'm sorry about screwing up the plans that were set and that I won't screw up any more because I won't make anymore plans to get together with you or the others from the JC. This has nothing to do with you guys. Point two: I can't seem to make plans without somehow sabotaging them. Therefore if I am the one that has to get me from point a to point b and doing otherwise would inconveience someone don't plan on seeing me. I am going to try to avoid making plans to go anywhere or see anyone or do anything other than what I have definate rides without the other person being inconveienced. Next: If I have anything of yours remind me about it constantly, try to get it back. I'm sorry that I have anyones things and have had them for so long.
Lastly, if anyone feels like giving me a good swift kick in the ass, I deserve it and the line forms to the rear. Yes the pun is intentional.
PS: I hate myself and wish I could make up for all the screw ups that I have made and most likely will make but that would be making a plan, wouldn't it?

I really hope Pinky doesn't ever read this.
I'm loving reading Lovcrafts works. I've heard a lot about him being one of the masters of the Horror genre, but most of his stuff is just creepy and way out there. They don't use shock value, they lead you through a mind game. The only 'horror' element that I can see is what happens to those that try to find out too much and even that is mostly told off camera.
Then again, I've only read a small handfull of his stuff so far, so I could be really off.
On another topic, I'm actually planning out what I'm going to do with my money and myself for that matter. My life seems to actually be coming along.
Well, time for me to go see about some food and such (mmm, cthushi....)

Well, I'm still with the hellish company, but I'm trying it in a different department while I look for something better. Starting today I'm an overnight stocker (no, not stalker, sheesh).
Also I'm actually getting more chances to do the things that I've wanted to, like watch anime and work on my campaign for In Nom.
Lastly a cool meme:

Hopefully this thing updates sucessfully this time.....
Any way, yeah. I had a nice long weird blurb on all sorts of stuff, but none of it was all that important.
Interesting quiz result anyway,
I amNyarlathotep!
The 999 forms of Nyarlathotep are a point of meditation for the true initiate. It is through these manifold faces that the secrets of the universe are made known. Called "The Crawling Chaos", Nyarlathotep is the disembodied ego of Azathoth and thus the universal "I" of known reality. Some of the many documented forms are; Father of Knives, Nephren-Ka, the Black Man, the Beast of the Lashing Tongue to name a few.

Life is wierd. Sometimes it seems like God is just a manifestiation of our subconcious, something that likes to give us what we really want whether we know it or not.
The reason I say this is because at work, I have made friends. People there make life livable sometimes. Shared senses of humor, interests, and goals.
I appear to be rambling, but since when is that odd for me? Anyway, I'm in an introspective mood and feel llke talking, except there is no one up at this hour. That's one good thing about this, it's talkning to people on delay. Maybe if I keep talkng eventually people will talk back more. It doesn't matter whether or not they do, I'll still keep talking into the light of the Internet.
In other news, I am going to San Fransisco on Wednesday with a co-worker/friend to shop at Japantown. He, like so many of my friends, is addicted to anime. I hope to addict him to Japanese snacks too. Mwahahaha!
Any way, the bed is calling to me. I know it's time to listen when it changes from a bass enticing to an alto serenade. Enough rambling, time to finish this and try to rest.

I probably should be updating this thing more often, but since I got that job my free time has seemed to be too precious to spend it writing about what little happens to me. Anyway, I just thought I would pop on to say: yay! The reason is that I just got back from work where I was told that I would be getting a raise. Still crappy pay but it will get better, I have their word on it. I'm happy.

Well, today I pissed off my family by being more concerned with my health than with my job for the second day in a row.
Yesterday I woke up with an arm that wouldn't let me hold more than a few pounds, not good for someone unloading trucks, so I went in and asked to have the day off. They let me. Today the nagging itch in the back of my throat blew up into a full head cold. I feel better since the ibuprofin took effect but I still feel like crap thus I called in sick.
My parents seem to think that this is a bad thing and wanted me to go in and be told to go home. I think that would be stupid as it would make me feel worse for the time it would take, it being cold out and they most likely would have me work for a while before sending me home. Also I don't like the idea of going into a retail environment with a cold, just doesn't make sense to expose others to it. Guess I'm just odd.
On another note, I recently picked up some fun things including a few more web comics. No I haven't forgotten the list that I was putting up. I just need to stop getting new things added to it long enough to put it all up.
Anyway, I'm going to go rest under a blanket and bake this cold away. Laters.

My stepbrother, who happens to own the computer that I keep my list of comics that I read(Yes it I do read that many), got FFXI when it came out and I haven't been able to use his computer for more than five minutes at a time. I would put up some URLs anyway but I with three link sites and two leapfrogs from other comics for the ones I can think of, it just seems like too much work for something few people are going to be reading right now.
Anyway, I was just getting on to go "grr...!" at the new game. More oddities from me later.

Ok here is the first installment in the list of webcomics I read:
/user/bin/woot: http://www.w00t-comic.net/ A very cool comic about a compute tech. Very very well done.
21st Century Fox: http://techfox.keenspace.com/ Like our world, only the people are animals in evidence and it's in the future.
8-bit Theater: http://www.nuklearpower.com/ The adventures of Fighter, Red Mage, Thief, and Black Mage. Yes the order is intentional on my part:)
Acid Reflux: http://www.acidrefluxcomic.com/ Inactive, unfortunately. God, a little girl of a diety, gets sucked into her hand-me-down of a fantasy universe and has to find a way out.
Adventuerers: http://www.adventurers-comic.com Has been slow but is good in the early parts of it. Very funny game parody.
Angel Moxie: http://www.venisproductions.com/angelmoxie/index.html Good comic, shojo(I think that's the term), and funny in a way Sailor Moon lacked.
Aurora Cab: http://auroracab.keenspace.com/ Furry comic that goes everywhere. Fun, when it updates.
And that concludes this installment. Be back tommorow(maybe) with B - D.

To whatever fictitious people read this, I am very sorry. I won't try to make excuses, I just didn't feel like writing in my brand new livejournal after that last post. Again, sorry.
Anyway. I have found another hobby to add to my list of them; AMVs. That's right, Anime Music Videos. Two of my favorite things together in one neat little package. It's just to bad that I can't find very many that I haven't seen already. Ah well.
On to another topic. I recently found out that one of my favorite online comic artists, "The Gneech", also wrote parts for supplements in one of my favorite RPGs, Mage: the Ascension. Wow.
Well I'm going to go now, I'll post the links I promised later.

I really do!
I love posting to my journal. This thing is so cool!
I guess there should be some sort of content to each post. This ones will be an explanation of the quiz topics that I posted yesterday. The quizes, as they say beneath each result, are all for a game called In Nomine. This game is about Angels and Demons. Note that it's not necessarily Angels vs Demons. Basically, both sides of the war are very much like us (to paraphrase the back cover of the book). Archangels are the frontline leaders for Heaven while Demon Princes take that role for Hell. More info can be found here: www.sjgames.com/innomine

All morning I've had a song from some anime going through my head, and now it's gone! I was trying to identify what anime it was from! But my brother had to start playing lots of anime and rock songs from his computer. Aargh!
On another, calmer, note, I will be putting up links to all the webcomics that I read over the course of the next week. Each link will have a small blurb describing the comic and why I like it. Thanks to how many comics I read the posts will be very large.
Any who, I'm off for now.
